Charity HamBingo Night!!
We had such a great turn out for our last fundraiser at Hamburger Mary's in Jacksonville. Hamburger Mary's graciously allowed us to be able to raise more of our much needed funds by hosting bingo as well as having a raffle that night too! We were able to raise a little over $300!! Everyone had so much fun too. A huge thank you to everyone who came out!!! Here are some pics from that night...

Fundraising by the numbers
As many of you know, this is a big fundraising week for our team. I set a personal goal to help my team raise over $1000 this week as we count down the final month until our trip. Thanks to the generosity of our family, friends and co-workers I have been more than blown away in the first 2 days. Here's a recap broken down by the numbers:
Days until our trip: 30
Cost of flight to Romania per person: $1800
Number of major fundraisers this week: 2
Prizes needed to collect for Thursday night's charity Bingo event at Hamburger Mary's: 10
(We secured those prizes in 2 days!)
Number of cupcakes sold for our Father's Day cupcake sale for pick up on Friday: 244
(We made 230 cupcakes in our last cupcake sale)
Some ingredients needed to make those cupcakes: 41 sticks of butter, 10 lbs of flour, 42 eggs
Money raised on our fundraising website in 2 days: $875!!!!
New fundraising goal for the team this week: $2000

Charity Bingo Night!!!
This Thursday, Hamburger Mary's has graciously allowed us to be the beneficiary of their weekly Charity Hambingo Night!!! If you are in the Jacksonville area, come out this Thursday, June 13th at 7:00 p.m. and play some bingo and eat a delicious burger. Hamburger Mary's is located at 3333 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. The cost to play is $5.00 and if you pay with cash, more of the proceeds will be donated to our Romania trip. So come on out, invite some friends, and help us reach our fundraising goal. Thanks everyone!!!

Cupcake Madness!!
Fundraising is in full effect!!! We are doing many things to try to fundraise approximately $9,200 for all four of us to get to Romania. We have sold T-shirts and raffle tickets and hosted bake sales. We have found out that our cupcakes are quite the money maker. For Mother's Day, we sold pre-order boxes of a tasty variety of cupcakes. Three of us made 230 cupcakes in seven hours... with just one oven! A pretty lofty feat if you ask me. We made around $500 thanks to all of our supporters and foodie friends. Special thanks to the wonderful Megan Schneider who helped us bake! Here are some pics from that night and our finished products...
In order to travel to Romania, each of us must raise a total of $2,300. If any extra money is made, equipment and supplies will be purchased to take over with us. So far, we have raised a little over $4,000 through the generous giving of our friends and family, as well as through our fundraising events. Thank you so much to all who have given to us and bought our products. You are the best! Our next big fundraiser will be a Father's Day Cupcake Sale, featuring some "manlier" cupcakes:
